Touch: The overlooked sense! Close your eyes and try to imagine you are blind, easy enough? Now put fingers or plugs in ears and try to imagine being deaf, still possible? Yes, of course. Now, try imagining, you can not feel the touch. Can you do that? Impossible, right? This is because we can’t be without this sense. Right now, you are sitting or standing. And thus, you are touching a floor or chain in one way or another. The books you read, the pen used for writing, the remote control you use to handle, and so on. Although we touch things, we tend to ignore this sense. Touch can be received by brain in two types- one that gives facts about where you are, weather, movements, etc. The other one is the touch that conveys emotions.
